Meet Dr. Islam

Dr. Mahrufa Islam obtained her doctor of dental surgery degree from Bangladesh.  After her graduation, her interests led her to pursue post-doctoral training in Periodontics at the prestigious Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans.  Here she advanced her knowledge by completing the three-year specialty  training program in Periodontics.  She also completed her two year fellowship in implant restoration from the LSU School of Dentistry.

Dr. Islam is specialized in dental implant placement, sinus lift, bone grafting, tissue grafting and full mouth rehabilitation cases.

She is a Board Certified Periodontist and a member of the American Academy of Periodontology.
